It was a hot time in the old town this weekend. The temperatures went up.

Time trials marked the beginning of swim seasons. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, its swim meet time.

I did a little bit of yard work. I've been avoiding it. A branch split off the neighbor's tree, doing its best to crush the blueberries. We also have a problem with vines of all sorts getting into everything, and those got hacked back some. Only some.

I nearly got this week's whole wheat bread looking nice, but I decided to split the top, which was a bridge too far. This stuff takes forever to rise, and it doesn't rise during baking like white bread does.

I've been busy for the last few weeks playing Final Fantasy X with my daughter. She loves the plot but gets bored with the fighting. Sixteen years after its publication, the game still plays mighty well. I'm playing the remastered version, and it looks mighty nice.
