Cool Weather and Art Deco

Cool weather has rolled our way. The days are less hot. The nights are now below sixty. So far, it looks like an early autumn for us, but generally close to what autumn usually is: cool morning as hot afternoons.

I continue working on Inkscape using art deco as projects. Using existing designs, I wrestle with the drawings. I'm coming to understand art deco. This is the art of architects and engineers, not fine artists. While using a drafting board to design these patterns is easy, using a vector drawing program isn't, mostly as the tools are plain different. Each medium has it's own implications. Still, once I figure out the construction lines, I can usually reproduce a piece.
