Weekend

Jenny was out at her mother's over the weekend, so it was me and DesignGirl on our own.

Dinner out was breakfast at Nick's. (Yes, that is a valid sentence.)

Saturday night out was Gracie's birthday party where my daughter actually ate the entire cake and not just the icing. We bought her a green dragon.

On Sunday, we did church. I had a rather good time helping with Godly Play, which I hadn't helped for over a year. Wow, was it nice to get back to that. After church was a poetry slam to celebrate national poetry month. I wrote a poem on Saturday and presented it on Sunday. I like to think that the poem was well received.

Meanwhile, I got a bee in my bonnet. I've been working on compiling a better list of fantasy and SF authors from the 1970's. The list has grown to 37 pages and I'm still going. I can now say that I have the most useful compiled list on the internet. In theory, all the databases are better, but as all the databases have truly awful searching capabilities, they aren't useful at all.
