Camp Part 2

Well, my daughter, Miss Dash loves her Chinese camp and I am very happy. We feared the worst.

Writing is going into the bucket these days. Miss Dash is now waking up very early and getting into bed, which makes writing hard. My strategy for years had been, "Wake up early and avoid everyone." That's not working so well these days. I'll try and fill in some in the evenings, but we tend to have family things in the evening. I have pushed into weekends, where I hadn't been writing before, and that's helped pick up some time.

I've sent my car off to the shop to get the muffler replaced. I look forward to a quieter car. With a broken muffler, you get all the cool loudness of a high-powered sports car without any of the advantages. So yeah, I sound cool, but I don't get anything out of it.

After my car gets fixed, Jenny's car needs maintenance and an emissions inspection.

We've had friends helping. Everything would be so much tougher without friends. Yay for Jenny being able to make friends far better than I do.
