It was like Cheeze Whiz, tasty, but not too tasy, just like junk food ought to be.
I keep getting gobsmacked by Miss Dash growing. I look at her expecting to see a smaller girl, and instead I see my big girl, and she just keeps getting bigger. Her mix of cuteness and dorkness is just adorable to me.
Miss Dash, after working hard on swimming, has made our pool's swim team. She was able to swim a lap, which is the requirement. So, swim team will greatly warp the first half of our summer. New people, routines, social groups, and complications. I have no idea how this will turn out, so I'll keep you posted.
We're also trying to get Miss Dash into a free Chinese camp. It's a three week camp that looks like fun, and Miss Dash has said yes to it. Free is about what we can afford these days. (We're still on one income in the DC area.) If that works out, it will be another complication, and one that I hope works out. All we have to do is get through the selection process.
