Christmas #1

On Sunday, we ran Jenny's Christmas Pageant for the first time. The kids did well with prompting. The audience laughed in all the right places. It said everything that needed to be said. Yay to Jenny.

Jenny wrote that pageant in a few days and did a smash-up job. Even with my editor hat on, I saw no need to change anything. It worked as it was.

Now I'm pushing Jenny to write some short stuff, either stories or articles. She interested in writing some religious articles. I'm for that. I'd rather see her raking up her own work, where she's amazing, than chasing the job market, which isn't amazing.

Sunday also saw my family's Christmas. All went well.

I made some Polish neckties on Saturday. For a first try, everything went pretty well, but nowhere near perfect. I need a better idea of what temperature to fry the dough and stuff like that. Next year, I'll also use our spaghetti maker to flatten the dough thin enough.

On Saturday night, we had the usual Dumbarton carol sing.
