This weekend marked another Crabfest. We bought and at half a bushel, and even then it was pricey. It's been a long time since cheap crabs on the side of the road. We also had shrimp and fried chicken. Nobody lost an eye or died or anything like that, so it was a great success.

Miss Dash was feeling under the weather, so Jenny stayed home with her. As a treat, they went out to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2".

I kept myself busy on Saturday. I baked a pan of cinnamon rolls and two cakes. One cake was supposed to be the jello cake for the Crabfest, but I missed the baking soda, so it didn't rise correctly. The second cake was the jello cake. It worked out well and the family enjoyed it.

In that vein, I washed four rounds of dishes.

In gardening, I weeded out the front beds and planted some herbs. I tore out the cucumber remains and turned over come compost into them.

I also washed the living room windows. Eek, did they ever need it. Really, all the windows need it.

And some little stuff that doesn't matter. In any event, it kept me occupied all Saturday.
