Family Birthdays

This year we hosted the June family birthdays, and father's day, and Corey's (nephew) HS graduation celebration. That meant that we cleaned up house leading up to the party, which was lots of cleaning and straightening up.

Everything went without a hitch, down to the mountain of Milewski food.

Jenny got some fish guts from the farmer's market to plant with her corn. I have learned, through trial and error, that the best way to cut up fish heads with is a hatchet.

I unclogged the bathroom and replace the leaking j-bend, then went and replaced the flush lever. Main bathroom now works better.

We have a bush that grew two feet from the last rain. I measured. Yeah, that's alotta rain.

Thinking rain, Jenny set up an impromptu rain barrel. To keep the mosquitoes down, she installed goldfish. With that big rain the other week, the barrel filled in one rain.

My new RPG is the Android game "Mighty Dungeons." It's a simple dungeon crawler, and it's just about what I need right now. "Bad guy is doing bad things. Kill bad guy. Kill all creatures in dungeon." Really simple stuff.
