Shelf and Stuff

The crosscut sled has progressed. It is now usable, although I need to learn how to use it. Mostly it's obvious, but there are always nuances. I think I've worked out how to assembled the beast. I'll do lots of glue, then figure out how to connect the parts more permanently. 

We continue wrestling over the future of the house. Opportunity costs are a bitch. Heat pump or gas? Alternate fuel? Wood stove? It's all too much.

Taming the bills is the next big challenge. We've made progress with both electricity and water, but we need to go further.
