Moved

It's been a busy few days.

On Saturday, we moved. We dropped Hers Truly up at Xpioti's, then moved the crap out of the house. Mark (brother-in-law) and Shawn (Jen's long time friend) helped me move stuff. We even swapped the washer and dryer. I could go over the details, but they don't matter. I was pooped at the end of the day. I dropped off the truck and went to pick up the kid. I needed the rest.

Meanwhile, Jeny set up Hers Truly's room. My parents had bought her a new bed. Hers Truly was thrilled and actually went to sleep in her new room.

The cat was less thrilled with the moved. "There's a new place out there. I've GOT to explore." Yeah, he's not a shy cat. He never hides under the furniture. He still want to go out. He guides us downstairs to the glass door. "There's outside out there. Don't you see? I've GOT to explore." We'll let him out in a bit after he's bonded with his new territory.

On Sunday, my parents had their 60th wedding anniversary. We ate at a family style in near Gettysburg. The staff was overstretched with two big parties, but they pulled through. My sister also arranged a photographer, so lots of group pictures were taken.

This morning, we got the internet and phone back. I'm still setting up all the devices.

Tomorrow, I look forward to a few restful days at work.
