Painting

I was a painting fool this weekend. I painted three rooms on Saturday. I also made a dump run.

On Sunday morning, I painted the trim. I was going to rent a vibrating floor sander, but I couldn't lift the unit. It was just too heavy. So, I bought a belt sander and I'm using that instead. Most of the floor only needs a light sanding anyway. I'm pretty sure that it's polyurathane, so I can put a new layer on top of it.

I was going to work on Sunday night, but Hers Truly wanted Daddy Time. I was happy with the rest.

Today', I'll head over to Home Depot to pick up some slightly rougher sanding belt, and a few attachments for my shop vac.

It exhausts me reading all of what you do around a house! XD I should hire you to fix up our place.

I'm available for unreasonable rates. ;)

The exhaustion is only going to keep coming. I don't get to stop. I'm doing nothing other than getting the bedrooms ready. Everything else can wait. Once the beds are in, those rooms are done.

I'm tapping AAW in case we have to do the mold remediation ourselves; hopefully we can talk the bank into doing it; but no idea if they will. Do they have a guarantee of any sort? Last thing I want is to pay for mold remediation that doesn't last. :/

You can't guarantee mold remediation. Too many variables. They remediate things covered in mold, but if you don't address the moisture problem, then mold will come back no matter how well they remediate.
