80k Words

Quite unexpectedly, "Standing Between Earth and Heaven" has hit 80k words. I wasn't expecting that. I'm just polishing. For me, polishing includes slowing down the pacing and better explaining situations, so that adds words. The books is still quick for its breadth, as I do tend to pace quickly, so the word increase is good.

My intention for this novel was 60k words. I am still dedicated to the thinner novel. I can't stand wordy novels that take 120k words to tell a 40k story. Fortunately for my own hypocrisy, I'm not a hypocrite.
