Care Repair Slug

I took my car to NTB last night after dinner. If I had left right away, I could have beat the slow customers in front of me in line. As it stood, Hers Truly wanted to come, to, so she had to get dressed. We brought along some Pooh to watch and drove over, then waited in line for 20 minutes as two customers took forever.

Those two customers happened to be women edging around looking for a better deal. It's not the women part t hat gets me, its that looking for the better deal. "I didn't know tires would be so much." You bought a $40k vehicle and you think that $300 for a tire is expensive?

Anyhow, chaning the oil, patching my tire, and changing the battery took 3 hours. The place was just SLOW.

Jenny wound up coming over and picking up Hers Truly and taking her away to bedtime.

By the time that I got home, I was brain dead, and I hadn't done anything.

Oh, and YAY. I no longer have a screw in my tire, and my battery is no longer at the edge of dying.
