Bachelor Weekend

Hers Truly and Jenny went up to visit Grandma in NJ. I'm left here on my lonesome because I am on-call this weekend.

I spent my fabulous Saturday turning the living room upside down and completely cleaning it.

The new monitor came in. It's a wonderful match to my exiting 18" monitor. It's not really higher resolution, bummer, but it is far bright and the colors are much better. For the price, I can't complain. In a few years, I can consider another monitor. Strangely enough, I found a similar panel at the thrift store for an almost identical price. Weird. Just weird.

I switched out the big amp on my bookshelf for my tiny amp. There's a mild loss of fidelity, but huge space savings. Yeah, that what I wanted.

I fooled around with All Point Bulletin today. Wacky and brutal, it seems. Drives like Crazy Taxi.

The film du jour is "Troy." It has problems. Character have themes. You know this because they say, "This is my theme. My theme is this. Them me, baby, theme me." My God, the writing is wretched. Worst, the color palette is long-ago sepia tone. Did you know that in the past, people refused to use colors?
