Hers Truly has been waking up early, now that DST is over. Sometimes, she wakes up while I am writing. Not good. She now seems to be shifting into a later pattern, which is good.
Hers Truly has also been increasingly difficult to guide lately. In the abstract, it's absurd. For example, she really wants to go get donuts but just won't get dressed to get those donuts. I really haven't worked out how to do that yet, or if it's just a particularly bad spike in that type of behavior. She's always been like that, sometimes worse than others, but rarely as full of beans as this.
On the plus side, it's good to see her playing with other kids. She's matured to the point where play is interactive, not just active. She is a very good, considerate player. (With everything, that is, except the cat. Pulling the cat's tail ranks high on the fun list.)
Hers Truly has liked playing equals (which is really division, as demonstrated with marbles), but now she's taking an active interest in letters. Good for her.
