Hers Truly started off Friday evening with a throat infection. So, for us, it was take-out chicken for date night.
On Saturday, we went to the Montgomery County Airport 50th anniversary. They had a small plane air show, including a B-17 and a B-24.
On Sunday, I played the Castle Ravenloft board game. That went rather fun. The game is, most decidedly, striving to kill you. There is simply no guarantee that you will win, which really puts the pressure on. On the beginner scenario, we eeked our way to victory.
The only downside on Sunday was wading home through the football traffic. I hate football traffic.
Got around to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It was a perfectly acceptable popcorn flick.
On Monday, I finally got Lord of the Rings Online working on my Ubuntu box. I gave it a try. My first impression: same shit, different rules. I'll play it for a little bit, but I think I'll get bored soon. (I hope so.)
Hers Truly now asks me to play with her. That's sweet. I can't remember the last time I got asked to come out and play. We play play-doh, coloring, and games together. I rather enjoy it.
