Hers Truly and the Cherry Blossoms

Storytime continues today. We tell Hers Truly many stories, and she loves hearing stories about herself. I'm writing these down so that we remember them. I've got a few weeks of them, at least, packed in my brain, and we're making up more.

Hers Truly and the Cherry Blossoms

Before you could walk, before you could crawl, and before you could even turn over, we took you on a trip to visit the cherry blossoms. We got on the metro and rode down into Washington DC. When we got off, we were at the Tidal Basin, and that's where all the cherry blossoms were. We walked all around the basin. We stopped in front of a little Japanese monument, and I took a picture of you and mom together. Then, we finished walking around, got back on the metro, and went home. And that's when you were a tiny, tiny baby.
