Novel Update

"Weeds Among Stones" has reached 67k. I was down to about 59k a few weeks back, but polishing, rewording, and filling out has added many words. If you count the words that I removed, I have added about 10k in two weeks. Most of my recent speed is due to editing stints in the morning and evening. I am also reworking the easy parts, where I run into trouble and I just need to smooth something out, or better explore an idea. I'm not up to the later chapters which need far more than mere polishing.

Some parts of the novel work beautifully, and I even impress myself. Other parts, well, they have a long way to go before they are impressive to anyone.
