The weather finally turned in the last week. A week ago, autumn was barely showing her face. Now she's raining on us in long, damp, chilly days while the trees slowly ignite in their autumn brilliance, throwing down still all the while in their sometimes successful attempt to trip you.

The weather being what it is, I have encouraged Jenny to go out to pho, because it is cold and rainy and pho is not.

On days like this, I miss whole milk and chocolate. Mmmm. Soymilk just isn't the same.

Hers Truly spent the day with Aunt Judy today, and had a wonderful time by all reports. The original plan was for her to visit my parents, but they came down sick, and the weather came down icky, so they bummed about here instead.

In terms of writing, I've been experimenting with stream of consciousness and gotten some cool results. I should post the exercise. I'd like some immediate feedback. Maybe on Monday.

Nothing special lined up for the weekend. I am damned glad that I wrapped up the shed a few weeks back. The autumn truck is going 50 in a 25 zone.
