My posts are far more interesting when I'm not at my PC and I remember what I wanted to talk about.

There might be weather gap tonight. We might actually get to go on the anniversary picnic! Cross your fingers.

I keep toying with getting back into computer games. What keeps me from doing so are a number of factors. For MMORPG's, they all cost too much, don't run on any of my available platforms, or are so-called "free". The cat does his best to occupy my lap. If not my lap, one of my arms. That makes game playing tough. My wife often wants my attention, and as MMORPGs are usually real-time, that makes giving my attention rather difficult. My hands also don't like it when I type too much.

That's the small stuff.

The big thing is that games dominate my attention. I literally forget everything else to do when I start playing a game. I warp my life around it. I admit it. I have a judgement problem in that regard.

Fortunately, I also have some ambition these days. The practical effect is that there are other competing things for my time that I also want. These things aren't going away. I can put them aside for a few days, then I get annoyed when I am not accomplishing them. Yay me? Well, I need something to keep my honest.
