Veteran's Day

Had Veteran's Day off. That meant LAWNWORK. I pulled out the new mulching mower and mulched the leaves rather than rake them. This worked amazingly well. Not only did it make far easier work of the leaves, it mowed the lawn. Before, that was two separate steps. This did not work perfectly. There are still leafy strips about the lawn. On the other hand, there are still leaves ready to fall. Round #2 will come later in the month.

We hit the sale at the thrift store. 50% off. We picked up a child's bed for Joy (It's only a matter of time) along with an assortment of other whatnots.
