The cat has decided that he now wants to be inside for evenings again. That means waking up at 3:30 to shake his bowl, and letting him out at 4am. *sigh* I do enjoy it when he's out all night during the summer, especially as the windows are closes due to the AC, and I can't hear him meow to get back in.
Today will be new food #2 for Joy. Jen says she's making butternut squash. Yummy.
We are busy straigtening out finances. It's like learning a new RPG. How does one optimize? How does one strategise for an uncertain future? Why are you doing what, when? All cool.
I am reading about the new 4E monster philosophy. Cool. I hit that point last year when I did my villain systems. In short, villains exist to be cool for 3-5 round, then die. They are cardboard cutouts designed to go unwillingly down. That means that all those character options for a character don't work for a villain, who just has to fight YOU. Thus, focus on the things that make your villain what he is.
I really am enjoying this WotC philosophy.
I had some chest pains the other week. They turned out to have been muscle strain from the baby. In the meantime, they did a stress test and an echocardiogram. All looks good!!
