Over the Hump

The baby got weighed again today. She went up!

2/26 - 7 lbs, 7 oz
2/28 - 6 lbs. 15 oz
3/1 - 6 lbs. 12 oz
3/3 - 6 lbs. 15 oz

No new weight until next week.

I like the New York Jewish doctor there. He takes the time to tell you about what he thinks might be going on, and that it's a whole lot of fuss over nothing. No pretentions. I like that. He's a good storyteller, too. I like the Pakistani doc. She's fairly relaxed. The "professional" doc will run over you. I don't like him. We hope to avoid him where possible.

The day has been easy. I keep doing many small tasks. When I'm up late, I am especially prone to doing small tasks that I haven't done in years. I had a good nap, as it was a late night. I always enjoy waking up to find the cat sprawled over me. Napping with cats: all is right with the world.

Now the the aunts have visited, we can start having more visitors. Talk to us if you want to meet da cute baby. Bring her an iPod mobile to amuse her. (I'm not sure that there is such a thing, but if I just thought of it, it must already exist.)

The next JASFA is next weekend. The baby is unlikely to make that one. Hopefully the baby can make May JASFA.
