On Saturday, we went off to watch the "Wild Women" film festival. The films ranged about quite a bit, from Raquel Welch in One Million Years BC, a silent 20's nudie film, Amazon Women of the Avacado Jungle of Death, and Green Mansions. That's quite a range.
On Sunday, I visited the DC pen show. I picked up an old Parker 21, which was a school pen for cheap. I also picked up some ink and nice red Esterbrook for Jen. I was not a big spender, partly because I wasn't in the mood, but mostly because I saw nothing which floated my boat. That, and I'm fairly utilitarian when it comes to pens. I want pens for writing, not for putting in showing to all my friends.
I also reinstalled Jen's laptop over Sunday afternoon. That took a bit. I kept getting hung up on all the little steps.
I also replayed more Final Fantasy X. I am realearning why the game annoyed me so. I'm eight hours into the game, and the game is still holding my hand. Too many danged cut scenes. I don't need all that characterization!!!
