The weekend went rather successful.

On Friday, we saw March of the Penguins. I want to call it a good film, but there were no guns. None! There were, however, unmarried penguins in intimate relationships, frequent breakups between couples, winter long parties, serial polygamy, and child abandonment. This is a throughly immoral film. It should never have gotten a G rating. Our children will watch this stuff!!!

On Saturday, we presented the Wedding filmfest. Watched films included Father of the Bride, Star Trek: Amok Time, Wedding Banquet, Sabrina, and Big Fat Greek Wedding. Our food spread consisted of meatballs in a crockpot, pigs in a blanket, little quiches, little baegle pizzas, a fruit tray, and punch made from orange sherbert and ginger ale.

On Sunday, I DM's the next D&D game. The game went a little slow, but in one session, I turned the pointless, aimless campaign of the previous DM into a coherent story. The players also gave themselves a mission. They now have something to fight for.
