Well, the weekend went fine. I was tuckered out by the end of it.

On Sunday, we did more cleanup about the house. We discovered that we were missing the guts to our grill. Jen had to run out and track them down. (We had lent the grill out last December.)

Yesterday, we had our 4th of July party. Jen made potato salad and lemonade. I made iced tea and marinated some chicken. We both bopped out to the store. I failed to find a croquet set. We finally finished some of the wedding cleanup. Many boxes went to recycling. The house finally became presentable.

The head count was Mike and Dawn, Paul and Vanora, and Tim.

My chicken came out great on the grill. Mike and Dawn grilled some good vegetable and a great portabellas. Paul brought some good burgers. Jen made a great cobbler from farmer's market raspberries and strawberries, along with ice cream with our new ice cream maker. Those pigs ate wolfed down everything but the watermelon.

Tonight, dinner will be mostly leftovers. I'll visit the fru-fru market on the way home and pick up organic sausages or something for the grill.
