The weekend was great. I mean great. I really love a weekend by myself. An empty house, all to myself, for days at a time, is bliss.

I got lots done. I moved the favors along. The inserts are all printed, cut, and folded. I now need to label the CD's. None of my solutions worked well. I may end up handwriting all the CD's. I picked up the front yard. Sticks were everywhere after the winter. I need to pick those up before I can use the pushreel. I also raked the accumulated leaves in the corners.

I now have a DJ. Yay. That's the last, big fire-in-the-hole. Now we are done to smaller fires.

The fish film festival was fun. I hadn't seen The Incredible Mr. Limpet for years, along with Creature from the Black Lagoon. Splash was new for me. Somehow, I managed to never see it back in the 80's. Also in there were the more recent Spongebob movie and Dagon. Amazingly, those two films are very similar. Now how frightening is that?

Dagon and Spongebob
- Both involve zombielike people
- Both have terrible creatures living in the depths of the sea
- Both involve terrible forces taking over a town
- Both have mermaids
- Both involve inhumane treatment and terrible fates

I wish that I was in a film class right now. I'd love to write a paper comparing Dagon to Spongebob, if only to make the teach laugh his/her butt off. Belly laughs get you A's.
