I keep buying myself new fountain pens. I keep going back to my Extra-Fine point Esterbrook made back in the 50's. I've been collecting the Esterbrooks. I'm trying to get each color in each size. I've let that project slip. One of the pens that I bought had a few teeth marks. That's now my regular writing pen.

My second favorite pen is my work pen. It's a fine tipped Pelican Future. I just bought another fine tipped Pelican, but for some reason, it's not nearly so fine as this one. I must compare, though.

My third favorite pen is my $5 cheapie. I had no fear of taking out a whetstone and grinding the tip to a finer point. I poked and prodded this thing until it wrote less like a wet mop and more like a pen.

Pens. Who thought they could get this complicated?
