Macbeth the Usurper

When autumn comes, it comes fast. Yesterday was the first frost of the year, followed by a harder one today. I guess that means I need to bring in the remainder of the tomatoes.

Green tomato pancakes anybody?

I've been goofing off with Skyrim again. It's been fun going back and goofing off with the new video card. Less crashing, to be sure.

I think that I've worked out the next step in the system upgrade. I move the computer to a smaller case and get that working. Over the next few months, I'll buy a new power supply and hard drive for the new system, and when I'm ready, splurge for the CPU/Motherboard/Memory/OS.

I have my mind on making a homemade banjo. I'm still not sure yet, but I'm definitely leaning that way. I'm of the firm opinion that I can ruin three or four builds, especially the necks, but that's all part of the hack project. Failure is a feature, and that's what makes this fun. At my pace, it'll take all winter and into the spring. I've been very intimidated by necks, which is why necks must be challenged. Maybe I'll even make it electric.
