We had Angi Shearstone over for a weekend visit. She was down to network at the Small Press Expo. A  good time was had by all.

I wrapped up the outline draft to a tall that I call "Four Against All." I have no idea whether I will pursue the story. The idea was a straightforward, kick-in-the-door fantasy. I achieved some of that. The word count is 10k, which is about normal for a 60-80k novel once I write it. I think that I can do this book in just two more passes: one to write the text, and the next to make the text readable.

I'm toying with the idea of novelizing a Shakespeare play. The plot is already there. All I have to do is write the novelization. That could be cool. Maybe I'll write some test pages over the next week.

I am also working on an outline draft for an early 80's fantasy novel based on the lead character pursuing bad ideas. I don't know what that one is about yet.

So there you go. More work than I can do right now.
