Macbeth the Usurper

The weekend passed uneventfully. Yay.

We took down the Christmas tree. There's still a little Christmas cruft around the house, but most of it is now put away. We have a living room again.

Still no news on the house.

My neighbor is interest in my house. Their house is crowded, and they have no room to expand. Land is what I have (and what I bought on purpose). If they buy my house, they can add on easily. So, here's hoping to a quick-enough sale. The good part is that we should be able to cut out some middle men. I'll be asking a comparable price for the house. I could tweak it higher or lower, but the real money is in closing costs.

A friend of Jen's came to dinner. They are moving into the area with a playmate age child, so that would be good for Hers Truly.

Jenny is 2/3 through editing this book. We're coming up on the end of this project.

The next book is about 20k words already. Its plot is far simpler, and I hope it wind up in the 60k range. I want a simpler story where I am forced to focus on character even more than I do already.
