Macbeth the Usurper

Gray is one of Hers Truly toy kittens. We got him from the thrift store, and he got included into the family as a foundling. He went out adventuring and got lost. Well, ever since we've gotten him, he's gone out for adventures and gotten lost. We haven't seen him for a while.

Meanwhile, Hers Truly's piggy slippers have also gone missing.

House hunting goes slowly. We should have a loan application in soon so that we know how much we are pre-approved for. When both Jenny and I were working, they were willing to lend us a million dollars. I still can't believe that. I could have been a negative millionaire. I'm glad that I didn't do that maneuver.

The funny thing about big numbers is that is starts to warp your thinking. "That house is only $200k? If the only thing that's wrong is the roof, we can get have a new roof built for it." Really. $250k is still way cheaper than $450k in Bethesda.

I had some fun looking at recent fantasy novels. I can write better than those writers. (Mind you, I don't have time to turn around a manuscript in a few months, so some of this hubris is mute.) Not only that, I'm a better content editor than their content editors. Good God, how did they ever get published?
