Macbeth the Usurper

Planting

The in-laws came down this weekend, bringing hostas with them. Many were planted.

The mother-in-law helped weed the flower beds and discovered three tomato plants and several squash plants happily growing. Yay. Free food. We not yet know exactly what type of said vegetable. That will be a discovery.

I took the opportunity to wash my yellow car. It is not white again.

A Requested Present

My father-in-law has asked for an 80th birthday present from my wife. He wants her to write a novel. She has eighteen months. Go.

Jenny said, "I don't characters. I don't have plots. I don't have time" I responded, "Boo hoo." I started my novella from crap, threw most of the characters out, rewrote it a few time, and did all that in 30 minutes per day.

When it comes to stories, Jen is unfairly advantaged. I must think up plot. She wakes up from dreams with full novels running through her head. Damn, I wish my ideas were that good.
