Macbeth the Usurper

I keep pushing at the Novella. I'm doing about 1,000 words a day. I'm up to 11,000 words, but only about 7,000 of those are good words.

I keep hammering at future stories as I go. I keep them in mind. I find it quite easy to imagine grander and greater actions and relationships of the characters and their world. I must sit on this impulse. This is a bad impulse. Such things tear apart the tone of the work. The underlying theme of the characters is, what does it take for an ordinary person to be a hero? Where is that turning point where they go from bystander to activist? What is the mental leap that takes place? What does it change about the person once that leap happens. How does that change their perception of their own trials?

Along with that, hopefully there is enought monster bashing and goblin slaying to satisfy the reader.
