The weekend went easily enough. Jen got herself some more hours at work, so to celebrate, she took us out to Firefly, down in DC. They serve season food there, which really pushed her buttons. She is very happy having more hours. (For six months, anyway.)
On Saturday, Jen went out with my sisters and mother to celebrate my mom's birthday. They went to tea up in Gettysburg. I was left home with the nephews to watch Scooby Doo and play Lego Star Wars. All in all, we had a fun time.
I finally had all the honeymoon pictures printed up and I also spent some time stuffing them into photo albums. That leaves one set of wedding pictures to do.
We dropped by a few antique places, looking to sell Jen's old furniture. One place sounded interested. Jen should get good money for her Victorian era Renaisance Revival furniture, which she inherited from an aunt.
I played far too much Soulcalibur. I am surprised that my fingers haven't fallen off. I have now bought half the clothing.
Another bottle of port finished. This was the Fonseca Bin No. 27. Before that was Graham's Six Grape.
The latest lecture series is the History of Ancient Rome. This is a fun refresher. I have forgotten so very much.
We are trying some new things with the cat. In one tactic, we will choose when and where we play. So if the cat is not being a problem, we play. We'll see how this works. We'll be putting aluminum foil on the table. The tablecloth has come off. (The cat always grabs onto the tablecloth, which has caused too many disasters.)
In the week coming up, we need to get Jen's old apartment cleared out. We want to help Xpioti and Lokifrost clear out a storage unit. Kittykatya is throwing a filmfest. The D&D game got pushed back a week to this Sunday. It should be a very full weekend.
