Macbeth the Usurper

it's been a good weekend. Had a great time playing bridge. Well, learning bridge. I'm getting better at this game, but I've got a long way to go. We have the honor of playing with good natured people who don't mind teaching. I can now see why competative bridge playing can get so nasty.

I bought myself a fountain pen on Saturday. It's a '51, made back around '51. It costs me about $105, which sounds like a whole lot, but isn't for a fountain pen. Estimated life span: well beyond my own death, if cared for. Jen finished paying for her own pen, but it is having flow problems. The next time that we can get to the pen store, the pen dinks have to fix it.

Sunday saw a rocking fun game of Robo Rally, followed by "Would You Rather," a game asked such meaningful questions as, "Would you rather inhale poison oak fumes or be attacked by a mountain lion?" These questions were often surprisingly grotesque.

Jen tells me a high school production of Godspell is down UDC, starting on Wednesday. I'll see if I can make it down.
