Macbeth the Usurper

Jen's Here

It was a long Saturday, but after four carloads of stuff, Jen's in. Most of the stuff is gone from her apartments. She still has a bit to go. She sublets this Saturday. All is good.

I started my class in Abnormal Psychology. In this weird psychology class, the men may outnumber the women. Weird. I'll deal. The reading looks more intent this semester than last semester.

Teresa's baby shower was a success. We raised over $600 for her, two car seats, and lots of other fun stuff. I was sweating it, as some of the food did not make it to the shower. People forgot. I did not remind them. Etc. All in all, a big learning experience for party organizing. Next time, whatever party that may be, I hope to do better.

I secured the wireless network at home a bit better. It's not really secure, as it's not encrypted, but as it's not advertising itself, only accepts certain MAC addresses, and the DHCP server only gives out to certain addresses, and I changed the default node name, it's a pain in the tuckus for anyone who wants to get on my network. Hopefully, the war drivers go next door, where the network is easier to grab.
