Macbeth the Usurper

Evil Plastic Monsters from Wall Street

Evil credit card monopolies keep me in their grip. I went to cancel my American Express card. My #1 reason for cancelling: I haven't used it in four years and I pay a $75 fee. Their solution: we'll wave the fee. Okay, I fold. I'll happily keep the card for free.

Meanwhile, the phone number on the back of my regular credit card is no longer in service. What? Good thing I get a new one in a few months.
Macbeth the Usurper

(no subject)

I talked to Laurie tonight. The conversation was a bit stiff at first, as we really didn't know each other. We both seemed to warm a bit. We made each other laugh a bit. That's good. We have made a provisional brunch date for Saturday, and maybe a date to see tango dance. She went to school at 30, and got her degree in CS in 34, but she's more interested in art right now.

Whohoo. Can I pick em or what?

Tomorrow, I should be showing around the son of a co-worker. He's interested in puters and is studying CS. I'm sure that I can run him around quite well.
