I find the remake of Alfie odd, mostly because of associations. That's a film that I saw back when I dated Heather. She had just moved into her condo, and all we had to watch on was an all-in-one TV with a tiny screen.

Come to think of it, I'm sure that I assembled much furniture for her that day.

I really can't complain about the films we watched. Alfie. Breakfast at Tiffanies. Fiddler on the Roof. Dancer in the Dark. We saw some neat films. We almost saw Brother Where Art Thou.

I can complain about Dancer In The Dark. I will never watch that film again. You can't make me. I bought it in DVD because it was a musical, and almost did not watch it a second time. I made the wrong call. If you do choose to watch it, get nicely drunk before hand. Maybe take illegal drugs. It's not a bad film, just a damned hard one to watch.
