The damned internet went out for me on Saturday. The resulting debacle was aggrivating. I hate indian technical support. I was reasonably sure that I had a phone-level problem, but I had to install all this software onto my PC. Okay, first I had to download it vis my Mac over several hours. I had to unhook all my networking equipment. I had to reconfigure the PC. I had to make multiple phone calls. Finally, on Sunday morning, after 75 minutes on the phone with tech support, they issued a ticket to Covad.
