Weekend Smashup

Well, the weekend agenda went straight out the window on Friday when Barb was too tired to run the TFOS game. Jen responded to this by saying, "Can we go to a bed and breakfast? Puleeeesss?" So after three seconds of shameless begging, I relented, and we hauled our butts out to historic downtown Annapolis to spend the night.

The next morning, we wandered about Annapolis. I visited my own state house! How cool is that? And they even let you near the seat of our state government. We have such a benevolent autocracy. I am proud that they let us vote for them every few years.

Following Annapolis, we wandered out to Sany Point State Park, because Jen really had a hankering for the water.

Of course, I forgot my camera.

We came home to a lawn ready to attack, as it keeps growing and growing and growing.

We tried to do the basement floor on Saturday night, but we didn't know how long the glue would take. I put down the glue at 10:00am on Sunday, and as of right now, it's not all tacky enough yet. This is VERY frustrating. I did not expect this to take sooooo loooong. To make things more complicated, the border areas dried out much faster, meaning that I won't be able to do the whole floor at once, drat it all.

Stay tuned tomorrow for another chapter in the basement floor disaster.
