Alive, Well, and Rested

I'm fine and still here. On Monday, I went to Suburban Hospital for a procedure. The urologist went up the urethra looking for the source of my problems. He found a few blockages, and did a nip here and a widening there. We'll see how this goes.

Yesterday, I spent the day drinking water and running to the bathroom a whole lot. I also spent much time playing Soul Calibur II. Yay!!!! I unlocked Sophitia very quickly, and I've been playing her ever since.

There was a rip at Jen's work yesterday. Jen was not a happy camper.

The amplifier did not survive the storm completely. It does not go into full surround mode any more. Instead, I get a "protection" error. If I turn it onto 3-Channel Logic, it works. Wow. Go figure. The VCR also has problems. I can watch it through cable, but not via RCA plugs. Weirdness. I may buy another VCR. I may not. I don't know yet. Tivo? I don't watch much TV. PC-TV Tuner? Maybe. As for the amp, I scrapped together my fun money, along with my rolled coins. $420. That's enough for a good amp. Sometime. With enough speakers working, I can wait for a sale. Sooner or later, I'll get a Yamaha amp.
